In that time she has won plenty of competitions, but one thing she had never experienced before was seeing the greens as vacant for so long as they have been during the coronavirus pandemic.
When social distancing restrictions were introduced in May it brought the games and so much else to a halt.

But with some restrictions beginning to be eased this week, several of the bowlers were back on one of the club's greens on Monday morning to roll down a few bowls.
While they are back on the green, they can't play competitive games just yet.
"We're only allowed to roll up," Dawn said on Monday morning. "We're hoping that we'll get back soon. It doesn't look like it for another month, but at least we're allowed to roll up."
The six-week break is the longest the club has gone without playing, Dawn said.
She said she spent the time at home, catching up on jobs there, including washing windows, washing curtains and getting out into the garden.
