The 14 residents at Bingara Multipurpose Service (MPS) haven't been able to see their loved ones or family members since a coronavirus lockdown came into effect a couple of weeks ago.
Worried for the residents' wellbeing, staff took matters into their own hands, by giving over their own phones for regular Facetime calls.

"The smiles on their faces were worth a million bucks when they could talk to their family," she said.
Two new iPads have been purchased by the hospital's united auxiliary but when their arrival was delayed, workers at Bingara MPS decided phones would do the job.
Ms Mack said the staff are a fantastic team and are dedicated to caring for their elderly charges.
"They consider those residents their own family, and have always treated them as such," she said.
"I am extremely proud of them, but I'm not surprised."
Ms Mack said now the residents have embraced the technology, they'll keep up the Facetime program post coronavirus, though hopefully with their new iPads.
