Club legend and first grade co-coach Ron Dellar said the Magpies will only play if the health authorities and NSWRL OK a return and if crowds are allowed to watch.
"If we can't have crowds then we won't be playing," Ron Dellar said.
Like all country clubs, much of the income for clubs to "trade" is derived from gates and money raised from doubles, canteens and raffles at home grounds.

That sponsors such as the Werris Creek Bowling and Tennis Club are also mightily affected by the pandemic and could remain closed until September also weigh heavily on any decision made by the club as to whether they play.
However, if all those conditions are favourable - clubs and pubs are allowed to reopen and spectators are allowed at games - then the Magpies will fly in any competition Group 4 promotes.
They will do so minus a few of last year's first grade side.
"I think we've lost six," Ron Dellar said.
"Zac [Leonard] has moved to Bathurst, Callum Hayne has moved with his job to South Australia and Sam Lumby is over in Kalgoorlie.
"Marty Shaw has a job in the mine and can't play while Thomas Browne needs to get a clearance if he is to play."
Browne suffered a neck injury last year and while he might be one of the fittest Magpies, he doesn't want to be taking any chances with such a fragile part of the body.
Winger Miles Kearney has also left and another wingman, Nathaniel Slater, will captain-coach Murrurundi in Group 21 this season if they play.
On the plus side the Magpies have gained Dylan Porter, the son of former first grade star Richie Porter.
"Dylan played first grade hooker for Gunnedah when he was 17 and then went and played the last two seasons with Aberdeen," Dellar said.
"Played in the centres for them but we'd be looking at playing him at hooker."
The trio of Millgate brothers are also back with Dwight returning minus plenty of kilograms and keen to win back his number six jumper and hand in the number eight he wore as a blockbusting prop last year.
"We're not over populated with players but we'll have good sides and I think we might even have an under 18 side too," Dellar said.
"We've had training sessions and barbecues for the 18s and Cody [coach Cody Tickle] has worked hard to get a team together.
"He's tried his hardest to get a side. They were supposed to play a trial against Muswellbrook on April 4 but that was called off once the coronavirus hit."
