Westpac Rescue Helicopter crews were called to the hospital in Gunnedah at about 6:25pm on Monday night after reports a baby was suffering from a serious medical issue and needed urgent attention.
The baby was treated by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter critical care medical team in an effort to stabilise him on the flight to Newcastle.
