A six-year-old girl was hospitalised after a horse accident near Coonabarabran on Friday evening. The young girl was left with "multiple injuries" but was in a "stable condition" on Friday, according to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service. She was initially taken by ambulance to the Coonabarabran hospital with possible back and pelvic injuries after she was knocked into a fence by a horse, near Coonabarabran. But the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called shortly before 6pm to fly her to Tamworth Hospital for further treatment, the service said.
