The break-in occurred during broad daylight on Sunday at a Goonoo Goonoo Road house.
Police are hoping someone might have seen something suspicious in the area between 7am and 4pm, while the resident was out.
Meanwhile, investigations are continuing after a raid on a Mullaley property.

Acting on information, police used a search warrant to raid the location on Sunday night.
During the search, officers seized "a quantity of cannabis".
No charges have been laid and investigations are continuing, police said.
