A TEENAGE girl has suffered lower back and pelvic injuries after she fell from a horse near Walcha.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter crew rushed to the scene at a property in Woolbrook and arrived just before midday on Monday.
Once at the scene, the aircraft doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the 17-year-old girl for injuries to her pelvis and lower back.
The rider has been transported to Tamworth Hospital in the Westpac Rescue Helicopter for further treatment.
The helicopter crews reported the young woman is in a stable condition.
It was one of two missions for the chopper on Monday after it was called to a quad bike rollover at Firefly near Gloucester on the same day.
