Police have confirmed the men in Tamworth had already been fined by police this week and now have to cough up $2000 for the penalty notices.
They were all intercepted by police on the road late on Wednesday and Thursday nights in Tamworth and Quirindi.
Officers were patrolling Robert Street in South Tamworth when they stopped a car for a roadside breath test, just before 10pm on Wednesday.

Police claim the 17-year-old girl behind the wheel, along with her two male passengers, were unable to provide a reasonable excuse for not being at home.
Officers conducted checks on the men, aged 21 and 30, and discovered the pair had already been warned and "fined for not complying with ministerial directions under the Public Health Act on Saturday 4 April 2020".
"They both received their second Penalty Infringement Notice (PIN) for the same offence and the driver was given a caution," a NSW Police spokesperson confirmed on Friday.
In the second incident, a 34-year-old woman was stopped by Oxley police about 9.15pm on Thursday.
Officers said she could not provide a reasonable excuse for being out. She was given an official move-on direction.
Police then said the woman was seen about 30 minutes later a short distance away, and ignored their direction to return home.
She was handed a $1000 PIN.
On Friday afternoon, NSW Police confirmed the force handed out 45 COVID-19-related infringements in the latest 24 hours period to Thursday night.
