Tamworth Regional Council has placed the plans for the multi-million-dollar Treloar Park upgrade on public exhibition and locals are urged to have their say on the project.
The proposed $2.8 million project is slated to begin in August and will include 13 tennis courts, a new car park and an upgraded clubhouse.

Tamworth mayor Col Murray urged residents to have their say on the project, via the council's public submissions process.
"There is a very good reason council puts these types of planning documents out for public display," Cr Murray told the Leader.
"It is because they are important for the community to have their say on these projects and facilities.
"We really need to that feedback from the community to either endorse or otherwise on what the council's doing.
"I really encourage anyone interested in the project to have their say."
Half of the project's funding is set to come via the federal government's Building Better Regions Fund, while the rest will be split between the Wests League Club ($975,000), Tamworth Regional Council ($225,000) and Tennis NSW ($200,000).
The public exhibition period comes after Wests hosted a community feedback session in February, which Wests CEO Rod Laing described at the time as being "very positive".
"The plans are very exciting - that's the feedback we've received from both [tennis club] members and neighbours," Mr Laing told the Leader in February.
"It's fair to say, the neighbours want the business to survive."
The public consultation period ends on April 17.
