Carlton & United Breweries and the Australian Hotels Association have teamed up to help pubs and clubs survive the coronavirus crisis shutdown.
They have launched the For the Love of Your Local campaign, aiming to inject $1 million into Australian pubs.
It's not about the money, but the commitment that regulars will come back and support us, and we will be here for them when they do.

They are calling on residents to buy a pint now, to drink later.
Gunnedah's Court House Hotel is taking part, as are the Railway Hotel in Armidale, the Tudor Hotel in Tamworth and The Guyra Hotel.
Armidale's Railway Hotel Licensee Robbie Porter said the initiative was a great way to keep that connection open with their regulars.
"It's a way to show the community that we still care, and that we will be here for them once the lockdown ends to celebrate with them," he said.
Rob Broomham, owner of The CourtHouse in Gunnedah, said the initiative would help them keep in touch with their regulars.
Josh Launders, licensee of Railway Hotel and co-manager of the Courthouse said it was about keeping the community connected.

"Everyone is doing it tough, so on a personal level I hope people don't feel obliged to purchase the vouchers, but if it keeps that connection we welcome it," he said.
