Vanda Erich, Issie Dube, Oscar Schipp and Sam Lobbin came together about six months ago and formed a band they jokingly called Liquid Zoo.
Now, the name has stuck and they're well and truly part of the indie music world.

Their song 'Stay With Me' has been at the top of the Triple J Unearthed chart for weeks now, and the boys said they were "stoked" to hear their song played on the radio.
"We just kept checking, we were at number four, then we were like 'oh, we're at number one'," lead singer Vanda said.
"It's pretty cool."
Vanda said he whipped up the hit in his bedroom a while ago, took it to "the boys" and it all went from there.
He plays guitar and sings for Liquid Zoo, Issie plays bass, Sam plays guitar and Oscar mans the drums.
The boys are scattered around high schools in the city, with one member at Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School, one at Oxley High School and the other two at McCarthy Catholic College.
They plan on entering the Triple J Unearthed High competition later this year, and a win could see them travel out of town to play at festivals across NSW.
With the taste of success still lingering, the boys have been back in the studio in Tamworth recording more original songs which they hope to release soon.
