Built in 1878, the pub affectionately known as the 'Loco' became one of the most popular workers watering holes in Tamworth.
Former publican Fred Thompson, established the Locomotive as a go-to venue during the early years of the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
During that time, the pub was known to host a variety of different events including live music shows, talent quests, pig, goat and camel racing.
The venue was first put up for sale in 2017.
