Motel owner David Snook said the suites were ideal for anyone forced to self isolate, who hadn't contracted the virus.
"Obviously, if people are sick the best idea for them is to stay home, but if you need to self isolate this is a great alternative," Mr Snook told the Leader.
"The rooms are at a significantly reduced rate and they help make the best out of a bad situation.
"Check ins and checkouts can be made over the phone to help limit interaction and meals are available as well.
"As for cleaning, it will differ from person to person, but we will ensure our guests our comfortable and the rooms are hygienic."
The Motel Grande is not the only accommodation hotspot exploring the isolation options as the Amberoo Apartments have also advertised accommodations for families needing close access to the hospital.
"The motel and hotel industry is a very close community in Tamworth," Mr Snook said.
"We all do our best to look out for one another and help each other out.
"I know we are not the only business looking at things like this and that's because we have to do something to help promote business
"Lately, we have had a pretty constant stream of cancellations, due to events being called off.
"So we have had to think outside the box a little bit and I think this is a good way to do it."
Mr Snook said he was anticipating more tough times for local businesses in the coming months.
"I think this is just the tip of the iceberg," he said.
"All reports suggest this is just the beginning and we have a long way yet to go.
"I think it's really important for local businesses to stick together as much as possible to help ride this thing out."
