The Michael Adams Memorial Golf Day was held on Saturday with funds raised going toward the Melanoma Institute and local Harrison Frear.
At last count, over $7400 had been raised.

"It went really well. It was awesome," Amy Adams, Michael's daughter, said.
"I was blown away. I didn't think we'd get that much. I was thinking we'd get around $2000."
There was a huge number of golfers turn out for the day - 180 - but even more people turned out for the auction and raffle after the golf had wrapped up.
It was a reflection on how respected and liked Michael Adams was.
"He would have been a bit taken aback but very humbled knowing that all his family and friends turned up. Some even came up from Queensland," Amy said.
"Speeches were made. Kenny [Muller] spoke and even people that won said it was a great day to be a part of.
"Dad loved his golf and being around people. He loved having a good time, having a drink and getting to know new people."
