Wests took to social media to announce the move on Saturday, but said the games were yet to be cancelled.
"Due to the recent announcement from the government advising against non-essential gatherings of more than 500 people - The Wests Entertainment Group will be suspending the sale of tickets to both the March 21 Super Rugby match between the Waratahs and the Bulls and the May 9 NRL match between the Tigers and the Raiders," the post read.
"Wests management will continue talks with both NSW Rugby and the NRL regarding the complete cancellation of these events," the post read.
"Ticket holders will be contacted directly with information surrounding refunds in the coming days.
"Please do not call the club as our reception staff will not be able to process these refunds."
Wests Entertainment Group's decision comes after the NRL and AFL announced all games would be played behind closed doors for the foreseeable future.
