A TAMWORTH father was still listed in a critical condition in hospital on Monday as his son fronted court again for an alleged fight.

Brandon James Booby, 25, is charged with domestic reckless grievous bodily harm of his father.
The 52-year-old was rushed to Tamworth hospital after an altercation broke out at a Merrinee Street home in Hillvue last Thursday night.
He was fighting for life in hospital, and on Monday, Oxley police confirmed he remained in a critical condition.

On Monday, 25-year-old Booby appeared in Tamworth Local Court but was not required to enter a plea to the lone charge against him.
Detectives have been ordered to prepare the brief of evidence and serve it on Legal Aid by the start of May. The case was adjourned to later that month.
He was granted conditional bail on Friday in the same court, and it was varied on Monday.
As part of his bail conditions, Booby was effectively under house arrest, but it has been varied to allow him to work during the day. He is now subject to an overnight curfew and is prohibited from drinking alcohol.
He must report to police daily; remain at a Tamworth address overnight unless he is in the direct company of the nominated family member; and he's prohibited from applying for a passport or going near an international departure point out of the country.
Booby's on bail on a $1000 surety and is also prohibited from contacting his father.
He's also been ordered not to have contact with a list of family members unless in the company of a nominated person, named in court.
It's the police case the the 52-year-old allegedly threw the first punch at his son.
