AN exciting season of Peel Valley Bush Cricket has come to a close with two competitive grand finals at Moore Creek on Saturday.
Woolomin and Dungowan begun the day in style with the B-grade decider.
Both sides went into the clash riding a wave of momentum after defeating Nundle and Goonoo-Goonoo in the semi-finals respectively.
A star performance from Greg Vallender was enough to see Woolomin claim a grand final victory.
The win came after Woolomin bowled first and held their nerve in the second innings to get the job done.
Later in the day, a player-of-the-match performance from Dylan Patterson helped Kootingal get over the line in their A-grade grand final clash against Kingswood.
The match was setup after Kootingal earned a bye in the semi-final round, while Kingswood defeated Nemingha.
To cap off the day, Sam Bowden was honoured with clubman of the season, while Goonoo-Goonoo's Peter Chapman took out the bowler of the year award.
