The development application for the construction of a store on the corner of Roderick Street and Byrnes Avenue was approved by Tamworth Regional Council subject to a number of conditions.
The conditions included a Traffic Management Plan - detailing how movements in and out of the site during the construction will be adequately managed - to be submitted to council.

The decision was made following consultation with neighbouring businesses and the community.
"The proposal is considered to be satisfactory, having regard to the relevant legislation, council codes and policies and will not have a negative impact on the site or community. Accordingly, the application is recommended for approval subject to conditions," the development decision summary read.
Three buildings will be demolished to make way for the fast-food chain which will sit across the road from Woolworths Eastpoint.
Up to 42 customers will be able to dine inside the venue, while there will a 21-space car park and a drive-thru.
The Taco Bell is expected to create up to 54 full-time and part-time jobs in Tamworth.
The restaurant would open from 10.30am to 10pm every day, except on Fridays and Saturdays, when it would stay open until 11pm.
Franchisor Restaurant Brands NZ have already opened Taco Bell stores in Sydney and Newcastle.
Seven more Taco Bells are slated for opening in 2020 with 60 stores planned across Australia and New Zealand by 2024.
