Operation Southbreak police moved in on the 16-year-old in the early hours of Friday morning.
He was arrested inside a Kenny Drive home at 4am, accused of targeting homes in Matthews Street and Petra Avenue.
He's also alleged to have used a car stolen from Goonoo Goonoo Road and broken into another car parked in the Tamworth council carpark.

The 16-year-old was taken to Tamworth police station where he was questioned.
He's charged with break-and-enter, break-in with intent, damaging property, being carried in a stolen car and larceny.
The teenager appeared in Tamworth Local Court on Friday afternoon where he was denied bail by magistrate Julie Soars, who ordered he remain in custody until next week.
Operation Southbreak has seen extra police deployed to the street after dark in the wake of a rise in home break-ins and stolen cars in several hotspots across the city.
Police said the extra patrols will continue in a bid to curb the property crime spike.
Several people, including juveniles, remain before the courts on a raft of property crime offences.
