Horse riders will not only be jumping for joy, but also for first place at this weekend's 2020 Peel River Produce Showjumping Championships.
The showjumping championships will begin from Friday, February 28 at the Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre (AELEC) and the competition will continue over the weekend, finishing up on Sunday, March 1.
Equine enthusiasts can catch the action at AELEC free of charge, as riders and their steeds tackle jumps ranging from 60cm to more than 1.4 metres, depending on the event.
The competition will be spread across three different arenas at AELEC and events include six championship classes, the Peel River Produce Grand Prix, the Peter Hoffman Memorial Cup and four Thoroughbred Sport Horse Association classes.
The championships are hosted in Tamworth annually by the North and North West Showjumping Club.
