The expansion of the smoke-free zone to the part of Peel Street between Bourke and Darling Streets is on the agenda.
It's two weeks since the Leader farewelled the institution known as Jacob McArthur and there are some big shoes to fill ringside at the Col-osseum.
Luckily I have big feet.
Smokers aside, there are a couple of interesting items on tonight's menu.
There's the possible establishment of a formal Tamworth University Strategic Working Group, which could give the city the pulling power it needs to secure enough funding from the state and federal governments.
And, as the city works toward its 100,000 population goal by 2041 another 40 carparks will be needed each year to keep up with demand.
It's raised questions about the possibility of a multi-storey lot in the CBD, just two weeks after the council formalised the sale of its Dowe Street carpark.
Whatever happens, we'll be here. Live and loud.
