A man has suffered head injuries following a motorcycle accident near Bundarra.

On Saturday evening, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to the accident which happened on a dirt road about 10 kilometres north of Bundarra.
The 53-year-old male suffered head injuries and was transported to Tamworth hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Just a day before Saturday's accident, the rescue chopper was tasked to Guyra following reports an 80-year-old man had been injured when a vehicle he was working on rolled over on top of him.
The man suffered back and chest injuries following the accident on the Baldersleigh Road property.
He was first transported to Guyra hospital where paramedics stabilised the 80-year-old man and he was then airlifted to Newcastle's John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition.
