So says Souths quick Angus McNeill, ahead of the side's clash against West Tamworth at Riverside 2 on Saturday.
For Souths, there is still much to play for this season. The 2017-18 premiers have certainly underperformed in 2019-20, winning only two matches, but are still a chance of making the finals.

They are in fifth place - 12 points behind fourth-placed Bective East with two matches remaining before the finals.
The two-dayer against Wests is now a one-dayer due to the wet weather. Souths will finish the regular season with a two-dayer against Old Boys at No 1 Oval.
But in assessing the season to date, McNeill - part of Gwydir's Connolly Cup-winning side last Sunday - said Souths were a "talented side on paper, but we're probably missing a few older, experienced players that we had in seasons gone before".
"Josh Crowe and Blake Fitzgerald were big losses for us this year. They're hard guys to replace. I think we can put it [the poor form] down to that.
"We started on the wrong foot, I guess, and it's just hard to get traction ... we've had a lot of players in and out [of the side].
"So, yeah, it wasn't our best season. But there's been enough positives for us to take out of it. Going forward, our young cricketers are gonna get better as time goes on."
McNeill said no one in the side had been "terribly happy with their own form".
There had been some good individual performances, he said, but "consistency for us has been our biggest issue".
"Trying to have enough players have good days on the same day to get a win together has been the challenge," he said.
"There's been moments of good cricket for us on an individual level, but just not week in, week out.
"At the end of the day it's been a learning experience for us. We're a club who's used to success, and we haven't got that this year.
"And we now know that we're gonna have to go back and do a bit of hard work if we want to get back to where we were. But it's a club with a proud history. So we're not gonna go away."
McNeill said this season was not a "true reflection of where we're really at". "If you look at it over a 10-year period, it's still been a pretty successful club," he said.
Elsewhere on Saturday, Bective East play third-placed North Tamworth at No 1 Oval, while second-placed City United and first-placed Old Boys clash at Riverside 1.
