The young superfish broke four individual records including one that has stood for 41 years. That came in the 14 years girls 50m butterfly with Pollard eclipsing G Gamble's time of 35.30 seconds set in 1979 by 1.77secs.
She also set new records in the 14 years girls 50m freestyle, 50m backstroke and 100m freestyle. All three records were previously held by Annabelle Avard.
Pollard swum the 50m freestyle in 31.19secs, the 50m back in 37 flat and clocked 1min 10.69secs for the 100m freestyle.
The Oxley house junior relay team of which she was a part of, along with Katie Martin, Bella McCarthy and Molly Owen, meanwhile slashed almost three seconds off the old record.
Overall there were nine records set with Liam Faulkner and Sam Avard writing their names next to two.
Faulkner shaved almost three seconds off the open boys 50m freestyle record with a time of 26.84secs. Avard also went under the existing record held by D Ison since 1981 of 29.70secs, swimming 27.32secs.
He also set a new benchmark of 34.06secs in the open boys 50m backstroke.
In taking out the open boys 100m freestyle in 1min 03.31 Avard broke his own record, shaving 0.3 of a second off his time from last year. He was closely followed by Faulkner, who clocked 1min 03.47secs, which was also quicker than the old record.
Avard's other record came in the open boys 50m butterfly, lowering the record by over three seconds with a swim of 30.56secs.
Along with the records, the carnival also saw plenty of fun in the sun with students resplendent in their house colours as they cheered on their peers and had a great day.
