Police are appealing for dash cam footage after the theft of a firearm safe containing four firearms last week in Oxley Vale.

Sometime between 6.30pm on February 10, and 7pm February 11, a home in Higgins Lane, Oxley Vale, was broken into while the occupants were not home.
A Marlin bolt-action rifle, Rossi rifle, Savage rifle and a Stoeger rifle were stolen from an approved firearm safe located at the property.

Police believe there was a vehicle of interest in the Higgins Lane area at the time of the theft that could hold crucial clues to the theft.
Police are asking for anyone with dashcam footage between 8.45am and 9.45am in Higgins Lane on February 11 to contact Tamworth Police Station on 6768 2999, Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Investigations are continuing.
