Roads are now closed in the Gunnedah shire including Clifton Road between Breeza and Long Point Road, Round Hill Road between Clifton and Perfrement roads, Long Point Road in Piallaway between Norman's and Pullaming roads at the low-level crossing.
Other roads marked as open with caution are the Kamilaroi Highway near Curlewis, Wandobah Road between Blackjack Forest and Preston roads intersection, Preston Road between the Wandobah Road intersection and Curlewis, Norman's Road between Clifton and Long Point roads, Bulunbulun Road at Breeza, and Babbinboon Road at Piallaway.

The Kamilaroi Highway has been closed because of a rock slide.
The road is closed at the intersection of Payne's Lane near the lower Quipolly bridge west of Quirindi.
The Gap Road near Werris Creek and sections of the the Coonabarabran Road between Premer and Hutt Valley (Tamarang) are also closed. There is water over the road just west of Caroona.
The alerts were issued by Live Traffic and Liverpool Plains Shire Council at about 3pm.
The closures follow heavy downpours in storms today.
