EARLIER
Just as all roads around the Tamworth Regional Council area were almost back open, this afternoon's downpour has caused a couple to close.
As many as nine roads were closed at any one time last week and they had almost all reopened today.
However, the rain has seen Warral Road, near Timbumburi Creek, West Tamworth closed down,
In good news, Williams St/Starr Lane, low level crossing at Barraba has reopened and Burgmanns Lane, between Goonoo Goonoo Road and Burgess Lane is being checked to see if it is safe to reopen.
There are a number of roadworks happening at the moment as well.
Roads closed:
Warral Road, West Tamworth
Burgmanns Lane, Calala (being checked and could be open soon)
Roadworks:
Back Creek Road, Crawney
Back Woolomin Road, Woolomin
Bligh Street, North Tamworth
Bundarra Road, Bundarra
Glen Barra Road
Manilla Road (Fossickers Way), Barraba
