A huge transport plane from the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) will swoop into town.
The C-130J Hercules will be opened up for members of the public to explore.
The plane will cruise in from Sydney and is expected to touch down in Tamworth at 11:30am and head for home at 2:30pm.

The thrilling visit from the aircraft and crew is part of the 'Our Place, Our Skies' initiative run by the RAAF to engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
The program aims to inform communities about the defence force and help personnel improve their understanding of Indigenous communities.
Other army vehicles are also expected to be on show.
