The Locomotive Hotel will be auctioned off by Burke and Smyth agents on Tuesday morning at a commercial real estate sale.
Owned by Matt Zell, the Belmore Street, West Tamworth venue is one of the region's most historic hotels, and poured its last beer in 2018.

Built in 1878, the pub affectionately known as the 'Loco' became one of the most popular workers watering holes in Tamworth.
Former publican Fred Thompson, established the Locomotive as a go-to venue during the early years of the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
During that time, the pub was known to host a variety of different events including live music shows, talent quests, pig, goat and camel racing.
The venue was first put up for sale in 2017.
