Transport for NSW is after proposals from accredited and authorised transport operators to provide a service between the two towns which close in March.
The service would run for a six month trial period with the potential to be extended to 24 months depending on how successful it is.
It's one of six services out for tender and operators can submit a proposal for one or multiple services.
The key factors its after are value for money, efficient, reliable and able to improve service quality.

Information on a Tambar Springs to Tamworth bus trial was first released in September after NSW TrainLink staff visited AgQuip to hear what locals thought of the plans.
The weekly day-return route will take in Premer, Spring Ridge, Caroona and Currabubula and tenders close March 9.
It already has the support of Royal Hotel Spring Ridge publican Tom Archer who previously said the service would be a great addition.
