More than 40 registered businesses were willing to bid on the evening which lead to their target goal being reached.
Another highlight of the event was the announcement of this year's first grade captain and women's seven's co-captains. Luther Robinson will take up the responsibility for first grade, while Emily Adams and Monique McCoy will tackle the women's captain role together.
Robinson hopes to build on the positive steps the team took last season.
"Both our senior men's teams are looking to set good examples for our women and juniors, and reward all our supporters with some good performances and work hard to turn around our previous results," he said.
McCoy looks forward to welcoming new recruits to women's sevens by sharing the love and spirit the game brings to Inverell and the region.
"My goal this year is to help lead and build strength to our Highlanders women's team to help us secure the premiership again for 2020 after losing the final against Tamworth Pirates for a place in the grand final in 2019."
While Adams would like to see the girls more involved in all aspects of the club, helping to build a fun and inclusive culture.
Highlanders president Lou Wilson revealed more exciting news- the club will welcome new business sponsors in 2020.
"We're privileged to have our major hotel sponsor return for another season. The Tatts Hotel, Scott is an avid supporter of the club and a long time sponsor that we feel incredibly grateful for his continued support.
"Our other sponsors are: Bindaree Food Group, Jorgensen Builders, Brett Tomlinson Building, Boss Engineering and Laser Plumbing," she said.
Wilson said the success of the night was in the support shown from Inverell's business community and the playing group.
"They made sure to look after out potential sponsors and made them all feel welcome at the club. All of this keeps adding to our season preparation.
"If Friday was anything to go by, the Highlanders will do our sponsors, members and fans proud this season," Wilson said.
