Luckily, only the Mulgate Creek was overflowing, which meant homes and businesses were safe from being inundated this time.
It comes after multiple creeks in the area were filled to the brim on Saturday which flooded homes and businesses and turned streets into waist-high bodies of water.

SES local commander for Namoi Tony Battam said the Narrabri SES were activated on Tuesday afternoon to warn people who were impacted on the weekend that flooding might occur again.
"We delivered sandbags and spoke to residents about what was happening," Mr Battam said.
"Luckily though one of the other creeks had little rain which meant the water level was lower than it was on Satuday afternoon."
The SES commander said he spoke to a 76-year-old resident who lived near Mulgate Creek who said it was the highest he'd seen in his life.
"If those other creeks came together and had water in their catchments it would've been pretty messy," he said.
It was a big night for SES crews backed up from the events of Saturday. The unit has had about 130 calls for assistance in the past week alone.
The volunteers started monitoring the creek levels and delivering sandbags to residents at about 8.30pm Tuesday night, and didn't stop until 1am this morning when the water had started to recede.
"[Residents] were appreciative because they had it fresh in their mind what had happened on Saturday so they were all happy to be given the warning and have sandbags made available to them. They'd prefer to be safe than sorry," Mr Battam said.
Narrabri residents are encouraged to keep an eye on the NSW SES Narrabrri Unit Facebook page for more updates and warnings if events like this happen again.
Everyone is also reminded not to drive through flood water and risk becoming stuck.
According to the Bureau of Metereology, Narrabri received 17mm in total yesterday, Gunnedah received 3.4mm, Boggabri had 7.2mm, and Tamworth had 5.8mm.
