EARLIER
Another day of rain has meant some roads in and around Tamworth are still closed.
In the past 24 hours, the Tamworth Airport reported 33 millimetres of rain.
The bulk of that came between 8pm and 10pm last night. To be precise, 26.8mm fell in that period.

Some roads, have reopened, though. Appleby Lane, Appleby, Borah Road, Upper Manilla and Burgmanns Lane, Calala are all up and running this morning. Caution is advised when driving on these roads.
Council staff are currently inspecting roads, and clearing debris from roads affected by weekend rain.
Council said in a statement: "If there is water over the road - go back, drive responsibly. Don't move road closed signs, it is illegal to do so, and you put other drivers at risk."
