The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting more rain over the next three days with Tamworth a chance to get as much as 46 millimetres.
There is an 80 per cent chance of any rain on Tuesday and Wednesday and a 60 per cent chance on Thursday.
Tuesday appears to be Tamworth's best chance to get some more downpours with a chance the city could see as much as 25mm.
The forecast comes after Tamworth got 66.4 millimetres of rain over the past three days - 55.6mm of that fell on Sunday alone.
Tamworth was hit by a downpour just after 12pm on Monday as well.
Tamworth isn't the only place set for more rain, though with a number of towns in the North West a good chance to get more of the wet stuff.
Gunnedah has an 80 per cent chance to get any rain over the next two days and is a chance to get as much as 55mm.
Inverell is a 25 per cent get as much as 35mm over the next two days while Armidale could get 30mm.
Both towns have an 80 per cent chance to get any rain tomorrow and Wednesday.
