Local schools and clubs in the region are in for a treat next week as the NRL Road to Regions tour kicks off.

The program sees current and former NRL and NRLW players embark on a week-long tour of regional Australia.
The tour will stop in more than 40 towns across the country where players will take part in local junior rugby league clinics as well as participate in lessons with students, focusing on respectful relationships.
The tour will kick off in Bingara on Monday, February 10 with an after school clinic at Gwydir Oval from 4pm to 5pm.
On Tuesday the tour will stop in the Inverell Shire, with Manly Sea Eagles player Morgan Boyle, NRL legend Anthony Minichiello and NRLW legend Ruan Sims coming to town.

Seven schools are set to host a visit, including Tingha Public School, Ashford Central School, Ross Hill Public School, Inverell Public School, Holy Trinity Inverell, Macintyre High School and Inverell High School.
There will then be a fundraising event at Kamilaroi Oval that evening from 6pm to 9pm, raising money for Inverell junior and senior rugby league.
Road to Regions will also stop at Lightning Ridge on Tuesday. There will be a community tour from 3pm to 3.45pm before a coaching clinic from 4.30pm to 5.30pm.
