The theme for Library Lovers' Day is to uncover something new, and Tamworth City Library will celebrate with a host of events.
It's become more of a community space throughout the years, librarian Amanda Burke said.
"We have a knitting group who come every Friday, storytime for mothers and carers with children and baby book time as well," she said.
"We also have the multicultural group who have an office here and run English language lessons.
"We're hoping that we do reach patrons who don't normally walk physically through our doors for books because we have collections events and programs within the library as well.

"It is a safe place for people to come and share their passions with like-minded people."
The library offers a seed collection, cake tins and the Dolly Parton Imagination Library which provides books for free to children aged five and below.
Library Lovers' Day is on February 14, with a trivia night on the Wednesday from 5:30pm.
