The floats, trucks and utes will travel along Peel Street from 9am but it looks like there won't be any flyovers this year.
There is a slight chance of showers on Saturday, specifically a 25 per cent chance at 9am according to Weatherzone, and a top of 35 predicted on the day.
Here's all the information you need to know for the cavalcade.
The route
The 2020 Toyota Country Music Cavalcade starts from the corner of Peel and Hill Streets and travels north along Peel Street, at walking pace, to the intersection of Peel and O'Connell Streets.
The dispersal area is in Peel Street between O'Connell and Bligh Streets.
Road closures
Along with the road closures that have already been in place, a couple more roads will be shut off for the cavalcade.
Kable Avenue (Hill Street to Roderick Street)

Macquarie Street (Marius Street to Peel Street)

Theme
The theme for 2020 is 'A Cavalcade of Colour'.
Participants were encouraged to plan their float designs around this theme, including what they believe reflects and symbolises the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
Judging and prizes
The 2020 Toyota Country Music Cavalcade will be judged by a panel of three community judges. Judges will award each float a score out of 50 points:
- 30 points for float construction, activity and overall presentation based on the set theme
- 20 points for the entertainment component - live country music, country music artist/s and float participation costume/dress
