JUST as the Adam Eckersley Band finished rehearsing their first ever song, Brooke McClymont went into labour.
So the rest of the band stayed home, drank beers and ate potato bake while they had their first child.
True to form, the couple welcomed their second child Elroy Eckersley into the world on Tuesday.
"It's been pretty all over the place, a lot of life things have happened," front man Adam Eckersley said.
"Brooke and I had a baby on Tuesday.
"Elroy came when we were supposed to have a rehearsal for Tamworth, so both of my children have tried to say, 'No you're not rehearsing'.
"If anything I'm getting more sleep since I've been at Tamworth which is a bizarre thing for Tamworth."

Elroy Deville Eckersley was born at 9.49am last Tuesday, weighing seven-pounds-five and was 49cm long.
The couple cancelled The McClymonts and Adam and Brooke shows just before their festival on the advice of a doctor when it looked like baby Elroy might arrive early.
Amongst all the personal change, the Adam Eckersley Band has been working on a third album.
"It might be that someone comes in with an idea or two people get the song happening, we put it in the band room with everyone and it takes on its own personality," he said.
The band described the sound of the new album as rootsy, acoustic and "a bit throwback-ey".
It's easier to write from person experience, whether it's something he's been through or something he's witnessed, Eckersley said.
"It's similar to the first two albums in the sense that there's no real solid direction," he said.
"There is a love song about beer, which is very personal.
"It wasn't deliberate, we were just sitting there having a real lovey moment."
The band sees Eckersley on vocals, electric guitar and harp, Benny Elliot on drums and backing vocals, Dan Biederman on the Hammond organ and keys and Mitch Cairns on bass and backing vocals.
Eckersley met Cairns in Newcastle when both played in their own bands.
Eventually Eckersley said he rang up Cairns and asked him to join the band.
"I rang him up and he was like, 'That's perfect timing, I've just bought a new bass so this will make it easier to explain to my wife'," he said.
The Adam Eckersley Band will perform at The Albert Hotel on Friday night from 8:30pm.
