BAREFOOT BOWLS
There is far more to the Tamworth Country Music Festival than purely music. At 10am, Tamworth Regional Council mayor Col Murray and councillors will take on country artists in the annual bowls match which will raise money for cancer research. It's all happening at South Tamworth Bowlo from 10am. Team captains Mr Murray and legendary Dobe Newton can't wait to see you there.
SARA STORER
Sara Storer is a vivid storyteller and her songs, which are largely inspired by life in the bush, always hit home at Tamworth. Today's show will be Storer's last scheduled performance at TCMF. She'll hit the stage alongside special guest Gretta Ziller at the Tamworth Town Hall at 1pm.
TROY CASSAR-DALEY
Troy Cassar-Daley always brings the goods to TCMF and this year will be no different. Cassar-Daley's Tamworth show will celebrate the ladies of country music with the help of some special guests. You can catch Cassar-Daley's show at TRECC at 4pm.
EMMA DYKES
Emma Dykes is doing the pre-launch show for her upcoming album, The Riddle of Life, at Tamworth Services Club at 7pm. The title track was also the first single and has done great things in memory of one of Dykes' closest friends. This will be a great gig full of fantastic music and stories that will have you hanging on to every word.
SAM HAWKSLEY
Whenever musician, singer, songwriter and producer extraordinaire Sam Hawksley is in town, his shows are a must. This bloke is one of the most talented artists you'll catch this festival. He spends the year playing with some of the world's top artists and bands in his new home of Nashville and in January he comes back to us. Hawksley plays The Press at 9pm.
