Hell to Hallelujah is the new single off her upbeat album Spark and the first love song she's penned in seven years.
After a long-term relationship broke-up, Lawrence found herself single and struggling to get back on the dating scene.
The night before she left for Tamworth Country Music Festival a few years ago she decided to download Tinder.
"It's so hard to socialise and meet people as a singer, people assume you meet people at your shows but it's the opposite, when you pack up everyone has gone home," she said.
"That first time you meet someone in person is the hardest, because you've talked a lot and invested that time but don't really know what they look like.
"I think there's always an element of divine intervention no matter how you meet someone."
Two years after their first date, famously unlucky-in-love Lawrence got engaged to Martin Newman and had their baby boy Ike.
For the last couple of years much of Lawrence's music has had a 'for-the-girls' focus, empowering women to take charge of their lives and stand up for themselves.

Her new album Spark is her most energetic and fun work yet, and that was no accident.
"Definitely there is this over-arching happiness in my life at the moment that filters through," she said.
"I made a conscious decision that my on-stage persona which is fun and energetic, I wanted my recorded music to match that.
"There were ballads I could have put on there but I just wanted my life to match the album."
It's been three years since Lawrence released a solo album and her last had a completely different sound.
"It was that typical break-up country music album, since then I've gotten married and had a baby so the spark is back," she said.
