Transport for NSW has advised people travelling in and around the Armidale area to be aware the convoy will be rolling in on Saturday.
The truckies - who all donate their time and efforts - are set to gather in Burrumbuttock in the Riverina tomorrow, then set out for Armidale the next morning.
At last update, 176 trucks were booked to roll into the city on Saturday, before distributing their donated hay on Australia Day from the showground.

That night, the volunteers and farmers will be treated to an "outback concert and thank you dinner".
"Traffic is expected to be heavier than usual ... as a large convoy of trucks and volunteers arrive in the area," the Live Traffic NSW statement said.
"Motorists driving through the area should allow extra travel time and follow the directions of traffic controllers."
The affected areas are expected to be Glen Innes Road; and Erskine, Marsh, Taylor, Dumaresq and Kirkwood streets.
