Wednesday could be a long one.
Our top picks start from 10am and finish after midnight so strap yourself in and prepare for a big day of wall-to-wall country music.
THE GOLDEN FIDDLE SHOW
The show is hosted by the unstoppable Pixie Jenkins and the musical director is multi-instrumentalist Andrew Clermont. You can expect plenty of surprises and absolutely soaring interactions between the near 20 gathered fiddlers. It all starts at 10am at the Capitol Theatre.
THE CONCERT FOR JOY
At 1.30pm just about everyone who's anyone will be at the TRECC celebrating Joy McKean's 90th birthday at The Concert for Joy. This show is not to be missed and includes artists of the calibre of Paul Kelly, Troy Cassar-Daley, Beccy Cole, Don Walker, Graeme Connors and Sara Storer to name a small slice.
THE SWEET JELLY ROLLS
If you haven't caught The Sweet Jelly Rolls at this year's festival, do yourself a favour and check them out. The duo, turned trio for TCMF, will hit the stage at the Southgate Inn at 5pm. One thing you'll need is shoes with plenty of support because these three loose units will have you up and dancing in no time with their fun, upbeat tunes.
MATT WARD & THE APRIL FAMILY
Singer-songwriter Matt Ward will be joined by The April Family for his show at The Welder's Dog at 8.30pm. This is a very cool venue and will feature some of the best in alt-country. Matt has had a huge year and it's time to start another on the right foot.
MIDNIGHT MURDER BALLADS
For the night owls, the Midnight Murder Ballads takes over the City Sider at 11.45pm. The show features Allison Forbes, Weeping Willows, Nia Robertson, Hannah Aldridge, Riley Catherall, Lachlan Bryan and Great Aunt. You can be assured the ballads will be gritty and could be the best way to cap off the day.
