The damage to the pool, and the grounds, was discovered early on Saturday morning, forcing the closure of the facility on Saturday.
Council said the town's pool was targeted overnight on Friday after vandals broke in and ransacked the grounds, breaking glass, chucking rubbish in the pool and damaging it.
Crews got to work to clean up the trail of destruction on Saturday as police were called in to investigate the trespass and the damage.
