In social media posts, New England High Country, which is a tourism body for several towns in the area, videos show the water flowing through the area.
"Dangars Falls are thundering!!!! This footage was taken at 9am this morning," New England High Country wrote in its first post.

In Oxley Wild Rivers, Wollomombi Falls, Gara Gorge, Bluehole picnic area, Dangars Falls and Apsley Falls will re-open.
However, many parts of Oxley Wild Rivers had been affected and would remain closed until it was deemed safe for people to return.
