Peel Street was a hive of activity with noticeably more people wandering up the main drag compared to the start of last year's festival.
The day finished with the Opening Concert as country music fans braved the weather to watch the show.
Kicking off the concert was the "Git Up Challenge," which was then followed by a host of artists.
Hosted by Pete Denahy, the show had a stellar lineup with the CMAA Academy of Country Music, Buddy Knox Blues Band, Brewn, Zac & George, the 2019 Toyota Busking Champion Rhys Crimmin, popular duo The Long & Short Of It, 2019 Toyota Star Maker Blake O'Connor, and Golden Guitar winners Ashleigh Dallas, Lyn Bowtell, Andrew Swift and Adam Brand.
