Lara Graham and Jess Davidson and their ACT/NSW Country side avenged for their under-18 national championships Twenty20 heartbreak last year with an eight run over Queensland in Hobart on Thursday.

In a low scoring affair, ACT/NSW Country defended 117 to be crowned champions.
The victory was extra sweet for the Tamworth talents after being part of the side that was beaten by Queensland by seven wickets in last year's final.
Graham's father Peter said it has been a really good team effort from the side, who were undefeated in the Twenty20 competition.
"They defended really well last (Thursday) night," he said.
"They took wickets when they had to."
Graham picked up the prized scalp of Queensland skipper and Brisbane Heat squad member Charli Knott, to have the defending champions in early trouble at 2-21 after opener Ellie Johnston (2) was dismissed on just the third ball of the innings.

A number of starts from the middle order kept them in the game, but the total proved too much with ACT/NSW Country bowling them out for 109 on the last ball of the innings.
Graham finished with 1-14 while Davidson returned 0-10 from her two overs.
She had earlier opened the batting but fallen cheaply. Batting at eight Graham made five off three as ACT/NSW Country were bowled out on the final ball for 117.
Davidson is yet to really get going with the bat, her highest score so far is 24, but [Peter] Graham believes it's only a matter of time before she does.
"She's going to get an innings soon. She's too good," he said.
Graham has been coming in down the order and hasn't really had a lot of opportunities.
With the ball, she has claimed six wickets with a best of 4-12 in their opening game against Western Australia. Davidson has taken 1-33 from her seven overs so far.
Thursday's final was played at Blundstone Arena, which was exciting for the girls.
"They were saying earlier in the piece it would be great to play on it," Graham said.
"To obviously play on it was a huge thrill."
The competition now moves on to the 50-over format.
After facing Western Australia in Hobart on Friday they will travel up to Launceston on Saturday for their remaining games and hopefully another final on Thursday.
