This concert is going to be a very special theatre experience as they return to Tamworth following the announcement of their 2020 Golden Guitar award nomination.
Renowned for their strong vocal harmonies and dynamic live performances both here and abroad, Jetty Road will be performing songs from their No.1 ARIA album, Because We Can, plus a host of past hits.
Because We Can is the band's sixth studio album recording. Like each of their prior releases, the album marks a significant musical progression, with their trademark sound on display like never before. It celebrates the universally embraced themes of renewal, exploration and pushing boundaries in life, love and music.
Jetty Road knows these themes only too well, with all three members starting families since their 2015 release of Hearts On Fire. The transition has had a major influence on everything from song-writing to touring activity.
"It feels like we're coming home to family when we come to Tamworth. So many friends, so many shows to see - it's one of our favourite times of the year. "
This year marks the band's 15th anniversary together (since the days of busking in Peel Street) with this multi award-winning trio being one of Australian country music's most respected and beloved acts.
Having won a multitude of awards along the way, including two Golden Guitars, an APRA Award finalist spot and five Southern Star Independent Artist of Australia Awards, they continue to grow from strength to strength.
With more than 15 chart-topping releases, two CMAA Awards (Golden Guitars) and countless award nominations, the trio has become one of Australia's most enduring and respected music acts.
