Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) launched the introduction package at the beginning of last year, in the hopes of attracting new referees to the game.
The package helps to break down the costs associated with refereeing and is available to all first-time referees.

NNSWF CEO David Eland said he was confident the return of the all-inclusive and heavily-subsidised starter package, for first-time referees, would attract new blood to the game.
"With football being Australia's number one participation-based sport, it is vital for us to have enough match officials on the park to officiate the ever-increasing fixtures," Eland said.
"The referee starter pack is perfect for those who want to give back to the game of football and players still studying at school."
The pack includes enrolment in a Level 4 referring course, official match-day clothing and the first season's registration fee.
"There's never been a better time to come on board as a match official," Eland said.
"With this significant saving and the experience you can gain, you will be putting yourself in the right direction financially and employability through the skills you learn."
The referees package is available to people aged 13 and above.
