So chuck on the boot-scootin' shoes and get down to some of the best talent Tamworth Country Music Festival has to offer.
BLUEGRASS AND COMEDY
THERE'S no better way to start the day than in stitches.
Catch Golden Guitar winner Pete Denahy in the Legends Lounge at West Tamworth League Club from 8.30am.
FREDBEAR
School's never really been Freddie Bailey-Cook's thing.
The young musician from Tamworth just released his latest single, Summer's Here, under his new moniker, FredBear.
Catch him at The Pig and Tinder Box at 1pm.
GOLDHEIST
Former Armidale student Hester Fraser, also known as Goldheist, will hit the stage at Toyota FanZone from 5.30pm.
DISCOVER NEW TALENT
One of the best aspects of the festival is discovering new and emerging talent, and there's no better place to see that than The Academy Live!
It is the graduation concert for the 28 students who have spent two weeks learning the ropes of the music business, improving their musicianship and co-writing with country music artists.
The Academy Live! starts at 4pm at Blazes in Wests. Tickets are $20 for adults and children free.
GIT UP AT OPENING CONCERT
Grab your two-step cowboy boogie buddy and head down to Toyota Park for the Tamworth Country Music Festival official opening concert.
After the Git Up Challenge at 6.30pm, the show from 7pm will be hosted by Pete Denahy.
Buddy Knox Blues Band, 2019 Toyota Star Maker winner Blake O'Connor, Ashleigh Dallas, Lyn Bowtell, Andrew Swift and Adam Brand will perform.
