At the libraries in Tamworth, Nundle and Kootingal, children have been making their own toys, crafting their hearts out and completing Lego challenges.
Some libraries have even run a secret agent mission, in which kids had to avoid lasers, work out secret passwords and hack into robots to retrieve stolen jewels.
At the city library on Wednesday, boys and girls got going with the glitter and glue for a make-and-take craft session.
